The Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative is a partnership among the Human Development and Family Studies department at Auburn University, The Children’s Trust Fund, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, various state agencies, and family resource centers across the state dedicated to developing healthy families and relationships throughout Alabama.

    The Alabama Community Healthy Marriage Initiative (ACHMI) will be holding a student essay contest for eighth graders across the state of Alabama. Winners will attend a celebration of marriage at the Governors mansion.
